The meaning of justice scarf
In Japan of Showa Era, Heroes often wore scarves, such as Cyborg 009, Masked Riders and so on. Actually, in this era, Full-Faced Helmets are none, so the scarves were for wiping their own runny nose. One of comics by Watsuki Nobuhiro is "Embalming -The Another Tale of Frankenstein-". Characters in hero sides, such as Fury Flatliner, Elm L. Renegade, Ashuhito Richter, all wear scarves. But, John Doe, another main character, doesn't wear the scarf. I think, that Mr. Watsuki Nobuhiro intends to make John Doe become a character not able to judge a peer or an enemy in first concept. But finally, he's become a hero, different to Shishio Makoto, his model. Justice scarves of heroes often show their own fighting passionate, dynamism and sorrow. Fury's sorrow is moderate.
